Corie’s family moved to Islamorada from the Bahamas in the mid-1800s. They left the Abaco’s to come to Islamorada and get a job building Alligator Lighthouse. She is a 7th generation to still live in Islamorada!

Corie’s husband is a transplant from Virginia Beach but is employed as a local firefighter. They have 2 girls, both attended local schools from pre-school to 12th grade.
